Accessibility

TAIC is working to make its website and educational information usable by a broad public audience

Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. TAIC welcomes specific reports of barriers and will provide reasonable assistance or an alternative format when feasible.

Current measures

Accessible design practices used across the site

Readable structure

Pages use a single primary heading, logical section headings, concise paragraphs, lists, descriptive links, and consistent layouts.

Keyboard and focus support

Interactive links and buttons include visible keyboard-focus indicators and do not depend on hover alone.

Responsive presentation

Layouts are designed to reorganize for desktop, tablet, and mobile widths without requiring horizontal scrolling.

Color and contrast

The site uses dark blue, white, gold accents, and high-contrast text. Information is not communicated by color alone.

Reduced motion

Embedded page styles respect reduced-motion preferences and avoid autoplay, flashing, rotating sliders, or unnecessary animation.

Plain-language support

TAIC uses practical explanations and identifies when official, professional, or case-specific guidance is required.

Known limitations

Accessibility depends partly on the Webador platform and third-party destinations

TAIC can control the content and styling of its embedded pages, but global navigation, hosting components, donation-platform interfaces, browser behavior, and external websites are controlled by their respective providers.

TAIC evaluates reported barriers and corrects issues within its control as resources and platform capabilities allow.

Request assistance

Report an accessibility barrier

Please include the page address, the content or control involved, the device and browser when known, the type of assistance requested, and a way to respond. Do not include sensitive medical documentation.
